NED NEWPORT POUND is an director, dp, editor, photographer and creative from Aotearoa New Zealand, building a distinctive style.

He started by filming on an iphone, teaching himself everything he could. While working with the Avondale community page and artists like Melodownz, he realised how much he loved to tell stories through his own creative lens.

Ned moved into commercial directing in 2024 and so far has brought his story-telling led perspective to work for Towerinsurance, Hyoketsu, First Table, Toyota & Audi. His films combine his love for unconventional filming techniques, bold and striking visuals, extreme attention to details and his sense of humour.
